YTime is a free youth service, delivered by qualified youth workers, that provides recreational activities and programs at the Y’s iconic HQ centre in Leederville, Perth's No.1 dedicated all ages youth hub and live music venue.
If you’re 12-18 years drop in, play some pool or video games, shoot a few hoops, or just kick back, relax and hang out with mates! The cool stuff like Hoops and Jams, live gigs, dance and art programs will still be running, along with way more.
the Y HQ drop in is open Monday and Thursday, 3.30pm to 6.00pm at 60A Frame Court, Leederville and provides a safe and inclusive environment.
In addition to the drop in service, HQ has also introduced one to one support (case management) for young person, aged 11 to 25 years, which includes assistance with accessing information, referrals, advocacy, to goal setting or informal counselling, with non-judgemental, friendly case workers.
David Reid, Youth Strategy and Practice Framework Manager said, “We keep young people at the centre of everything we do, which is why the Y has developed our Youth Strategic Framework, in the form of YTime, our complete approach to youth work so we can be intentional in how we engage and support young people”.
